MODE was created with a simple belief: our industry deserves a trade show built for today's dance retailer.
In 2024, seven leading dance brands came together around a shared goal — not to create another trade show, but to create a better one. Together, they asked an important question:
What would a market look like if it was designed entirely around the needs of dance retailers?
More than a place to write orders, MODE was built to deliver real value to the dance community through meaningful education, stronger industry connections, practical business strategies, and opportunities to discover the products and partnerships that help retailers thrive.
From the beginning, MODE has been guided by a spirit of collaboration. Competing brands put aside competition to invest in the future of the dance industry — creating an event where retailers, brands, educators, and industry leaders can come together, learn from one another, and grow stronger together.

Our inaugural event took place in Atlanta in 2025, bringing together retailers and brands from across North America. In 2026, MODE moved to San Antonio, where the event expanded with new educational opportunities, networking experiences, and industry programs designed to give attendees even more value. San Antonio will once again host MODE in 2027 as we continue to build on that momentum.
What happens after that? We are keeping an open mind.
